Moss Hey are seeking to appoint a well-motivated individual to join a strong team which provides the ‘wraparound’ care at the thriving ‘Out of School Club’ at Moss Hey.  The start date will be Monday 16th November 2020 OR as soon as possible following all safeguarding checks have been completed.  They are looking for someone who loves working with primary aged children, who can use their initiative to encourage play and social development. They must be able to communicate clearly with children, parents and staff and be a real team player.

The successful candidate will be required to set up a range of stimulating play activities for the children to engage with, ensuring that the setting is attractive and fit for purpose. The main purpose of the job is to facilitate after school care for pupils with the post holder reporting to the Before and After School Club Manager.

The main responsibilities and personal duties are:

• *To prepare the room for the morning or afternoon session.
• *To help create stimulating and exciting play opportunities for all pupils.
• *To prepare snacks.
•* To interact with all pupils.
• *To greet the pupils and settle them into the club.
• *To liaise with parents.
• *To liaise with other team members.
• *To ensure the setting is safe.
•* To ensure the setting is left in a clean and tidy state ready for the next session.

  • *Working Hours: 8 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 3:00pm to 5:00pm, term time only
  • *Salary Grade: Scale 2 point 3 
  • *Salary from:£18,562  per annum pro rata  Actual Salary from: £3,417 per annum

4th Bramhall (St Michael’s) Scout Group are looking for help! Are you aged between 18 & 100 years old – Retired – Out of Work – Just looking for something extra in life?

  • Beaver, Cub, Scout, & Explorer Leaders
  • They are also looking for those tinkers out there that would be willing to pop down to keep the building up to scratch and organise and fix camping and other equipment.
  • Administration, help with accounts, membership systems

The Thursday Club meets weekly in at Bramhall Methodist Church between 10am-2.30pm. It’s a daytime social hub for very Senior Citizens
