I Love Bramhall is delighted to have marked five years of serving the community of Bramhall with a celebratory party, attended by dozens of Bramhall-based businesses, community figures and guest of honour Dr Erinma Bell MBE – Moss Side community peace activist and a Greater Manchester Deputy Lieutenant.
On Thursday 8th November, newly-opened village restaurant Tre Ciccio hosted a fifth birthday celebration for I Love Bramhall, held in honour of the village’s businesses and key supporters. Rustic and welcoming, Tre Ciccio served up an array of tasty canapes with famed Italian hospitality.
The event was attended by Bramhall councillors Mike Hurleston, Linda Holt and John McGahan, as well as representatives from many local businesses, community groups, schools and churches. Among those in attendance were bookkeepers Your Support Team, Bramhall’s newest estate agency Leighton Snow, Bramhall High, Keller Kitchens, SCZ Electrical Services, Guinot, Pryddrech Financial Planning, The Knee Expert,
, 4th Bramhall Scouts, Amaranth, Bramhall URC and St Michael’s Church.
Partygoers were treated to free flowing prosecco, themed cupcakes from local cafe Plumcake and entertainment from live musicians Tony Grimes and John Reynolds of Interfuture Entertainment. The event was photographed by Chelsea Shoesmith and filmed by Funky Film.
I Love Bramhall founder Wendy Green commented:
“When I Love Bramhall first started out five years ago, I could only hope that it would become the success that it is today. The website has had more than a quarter of a million visits, which just goes to show what a fantastic resource it is – both for Bramhall’s residents and visitors.
“I Love Bramhall is so much more than a local business directory – it’s a community. We work with hundreds of businesses, community groups, charities and more, raising the profile of Bramhall and everything our village has to offer.
“It was an absolute pleasure to hold this special celebration at newly opened Italian restaurant Tre Ciccio, which welcomed us so warmly. We were joined on the night by dozens of local business and community representatives – these celebrations are I Love Bramhall’s way of giving back to everyone who has shown their support for our special village over the years.”
Wendy went on to make a special announcement:
“I am delighted to announce the forthcoming launch of I Love Moss Side – the latest venture in the ‘I Love’ brand, which will be headed up in partnership with Moss Side community peace activist Dr Erinma Bell MBE. Together, we plan to create a resource that unites the community in the way that I Love Bramhall has.”
