It’s been a busy couple of years for one of our most popular property perfumers, Cheshire Home Fragrance, what with a recent award win and the showroom ever expanding to accommodate a growing treasure trove of aromatic home accessories. I Love Bramhall met up with owner Caroline Tiplady for all the latest from Cheshire Home Fragrance HQ.
Over the last year, Cheshire Home Fragrance’s showroom on Bramhall Moor Lane’s National Trading Estate has changed somewhat, with the addition of more dressers filled with goodies and an appealing vine-clad feature wall. One element, however, remains the same: the enticing aroma that greets you as you step through the door.
The showroom is framed on either side by large, top-quality wooden dressers that hold the many products on offer at Cheshire Home Fragrance, including scented candles, wax melts, room sprays, a vast array of decorative burners, car and home diffusers, plug-ins and more. The other side of the showroom, behind the dressers to the left, is where the magic takes place, with Caroline whipping up her finely fragranced creations by hand, to her own exacting standards.
There’s a reason Cheshire Home Fragrance has achieved its golden reputation (almost 4,000 Likes on social media and more than 100 five-star reviews) in just a couple of years: Caroline’s unfailing commitment to quality and to customer service. Assisted tirelessly by her husband Allen and, at especially busy times, an extra pair of hands, Caroline has successfully turned what began as a hobby into a dream career that has won her the appreciation of customers around the world – and now an award, too!
Caroline was contacted by business publication Corporate LiveWire Manchester with the exciting news that Cheshire Home Fragrance had been nominated for their Fragrance Specialist of the Year Award. The judges were so impressed with Caroline’s branding, social media content, customer service and work with charities that Cheshire Home Fragrance subsequently scooped the title.
With the business now in its third year, Caroline says she still can’t quite believe how quickly Cheshire Home Fragrance has become such a success. Her customers, however, know it’s because Cheshire Home Fragrance offers just the right mix of friendly service, commitment to quality and that personal, human touch.
Ever-humble, Caroline loves nothing more than spending time with family, friends and her dog Bobby, but she also endeavours to give back to society. Part of the reasoning behind Cheshire Home Fragrance’s award win was the business’ charity work – in particular, raising funds in the wake of the Manchester Arena bombing.
Every year, Cheshire Home Fragrance runs a line of Manchester Bee candles and donates a percentage of the profits to survivor Martin Hibbert’s charity, which distributes the funds among the Southport Spinal Unit, Salford Royal and Manchester Children’s Hospital – all of which attended to victims of the Arena attack. So far, Cheshire Home Fragrance has raised more than £3,000 for these worthy causes.
In addition to the limited edition Manchester Bee candles, which are available for a week or so each year, Caroline also produces a limited edition fragrance each month on top of the perennially popular core range. Candles and other items can be personalised, making thoughtful gifts, and orders can be placed online as well as in store.
Don’t miss Caroline at Light Up Bramhall this winter – it’s the perfect place to stock up on scented gifts. In the meantime, you’ll find all the information you need about following, contacting or visiting Cheshire Home Fragrance below:
