Bramhall Village Square to get a Facelift – HIMOR are delighted to announce that Manchester & Cheshire Construction Co. have been appointed to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of The Village Square, Bramhall.

Works will include a redesign of the central square to provide a focal point for the village, upgraded lighting, refreshed canopies, a new colour scheme and remodelling of entrances. It is hoped that these  works will create a welcoming and vibrant environment for shoppers and businesses.

Paul Wrigglesworth of HIMOR commented: “We are really pleased to announce this programme of works which should transform the appearance of the shopping centre. We feel the Village Square has huge potential and this is just the start of our long term investment into Bramhall. In time we hope to attract new retailers and customers into the Square and we know that the local residents are really excited about these proposals”.

Works are due to commence in January and last around three months. Once the works are underway Manchester & Cheshire will have a site office within the Square where further information will be made available to the public and resident businesses.

Manchester & Cheshire Construction’s Managing Director Dave Lowe confirmed that they were looking forward to working with HIMOR Group in such a prestigious location.

“Bramhall has been voted as Britain’s friendliest village and we certainly fit the bill as a friendly contractor! We are keen on developing and maintaining relationships with the tenants and local residents, whilst minimising disruption to local businesses as the scheme develops.

MCC specialise in complex refurbishment programmes on live sites and so we are confident that we can carry out these works to an exceptionally high standard with the minimum of fuss.

It is refreshing to see investment into what is obviously a vibrant and passionate community. We will be maintaining a high profile on site with a drop-in centre available for residents and tenants should there be any concerns as the works are carried out.”
