It’s been a busy year at Piccolino Bramhall with an ever-expanding drinks menu, the addition of a fantastic new prosecco bar and some super events. I Love Bramhall caught up with Events Manager Lucy Allen for the lowdown on last year’s progress and this year’s plans for Piccolino Bramhall – one of our favourite Italian eateries.
Tucked away down Moss Lane, Piccolino Bramhall is among the village’s best established Italians, known for its welcoming staff and stylish setting. Catering for all ages of customer, the timeless appeal of the interior is matched by the quality of dishes and level of care that goes into ensuring the best experience for everyone who walks through the door.
With this in mind, Piccolino announced some exciting news late last year – the restaurant would be opening a brand new prosecco bar to cater for its many fizz fans, much to the joy of the ILB team! The bar offers an extensive and affordable range of prosecco wines, priced from £20 per bottle and £5 per glass.
Bar manager Thomas is committed to helping visitors pick out the perfect prosecco but is equally skilled when it comes to crafting the perfect cocktail – newer additions to the cocktail menu include the Espresso Martini, Hanky Panky and Porn Star Martini.
The cocktail menu isn’t the only thing to change, though – the main menu alters seasonally, so look out for some delicious new dishes with the changing seasons. What hasn’t changed, however, is the quality of ingredients, preparation and service that Piccolino is so well-known for, ensuring that the eatery remains a great option for Bramhall diners.
Regardless of the day of the week, Piccolino is the perfect place to pop into at any time, whether it’s for a working lunch or a Sunday roast. Also announced in the past few months is the Aperitivo concept – complimentary nibbles when ordering a drink from the bar, available all day, every day.
There’s plenty to make your mouth water on the menu if you’re staying to eat, too – favourites include the Piccante, Quattro Stagioni and Fiorentina pizzas, Linguine Gamberoni, Troffiete con Pollo and Mezzelune Con Prosciutto pasta dishes and Anatra (Duck) and Pollo Parmigiana meaty classics. Fancy a free after-dinner coffee? Club Individual members are entitled to complimentary coffee, so if you haven’t joined up yet, now’s the time.
New for 2019 are a whole host of events – Piccolino is proud to give customers a great experience, whether they’re visiting for a meal, drinks or a special event. There will be plenty of opportunities to treat your tastebuds at wine tasting workshops during 2019. The focus varies from session to session but guests can expect to choose from topics such as comparing sweet and dry wines, or an in-depth look at organic wines and Italian gems.
Other exciting events to look out for at Piccolino in 2019 include prosecco masterclasses and an opportunity to brush up on your makeup skills at a Charlotte Tilbury masterclass and dinner event. To book your place on any of our upcoming events, contact Lucy at [email protected]
