St Michael Church are seeking a Caretaker/Maintenance person to work in their busy Church and Parish Centre.
Salary : £4,394 per annum (£8.45 per hour national living wage)
Hours of work : 10 hours per week, spread across mornings Tuesday to Thursday
Annual Leave : 10 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Supporting the Churchwardens and Parish Administrator you will assist in the organisation of the setting up, opening and closing of the Parish Centre for meetings etc. Undertake some cleaning duties and identify necessary repairs, carrying out small repairs as required. You will also support the Health and Safety Officer in relation to monthly inspections. We need someone who is reliable, flexible and has good communication skills. DIY experience would be advantageous. Moving and handling training will be provided. If you are motivated, able to work under your own initiative and equally well as part of a team, this could be just the job for you.
