Christmas comes to Bramhall Village on Sunday 3rd December with Light Up Bramhall 2017.
The event starts at 12 noon in the Village Square with Christmas stalls, entertainment, food and drink sellers, children’s games and Santa’s Grotto, and continues throughout the afternoon on Bramhall Lane South until around 5:30 pm.
Light Up Bramhall is one of the three main events in the village organised by Bramhall Together Trust, a small team of volunteers hoping to bring the community together with family events through the year.
The popular lantern making workshop is back and lanterns can be made in the hall at Bramhall Methodist Church from 1 pm to 3:30 pm. The lantern parade meeting point this year will be 4:25 pm outside Superdrug.
Bramhall Lane South is closed from midday to 6 pm and Imagine FM will be helping to entertain the crowds this year.
Stage highlights will include: *subject to change*
“It’s a great way to start the Christmas celebrations – there was a real party atmosphere last year with thousands of people gathering in the village to join in with the entertainment and watch the laser show. This year’s will be better than ever”, said Chairman of Bramhall Together Trust, Roger Prydderch.
Light Up Bramhall is supported by Vernon Building Society and Bramhall Village Square
Thanks to Mercato for offering to look after the local councillors & the VIPs.
IMPORTANT – Bramhall Lane South will be closed from Lumb Lane to the roundabout in the centre of the village between 12noon – 6 pm
