Forever Blowing Bubbles – Bramhall’s Bubble Room is regarded by many people in the village as ‘the local’s local’ .

Once nicknamed by regulars as the ‘Cheers Bar’ in reference to the hit US comedy sitcom featuring Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson.
The imaginary Boston bar’s famous theme tune included the line ‘where everybody knows your name’ and this is perhaps exactly why Bramhall’s Bubble Room shows no sign of bursting.

The Mason family and their excellent team of managers and staff just seem to get it right when it comes to hospitality.  They might not know your name when you first walk in but they will be sure to remember it the next time you walk through the doors.  The Bubble Room team always offer a warm, welcoming and personal service where nothing is too much trouble and they treat customers as they would their friends. This also extends into the wider community through the ongoing support of local schools, charities and events.

This successful family business is approaching it’s 12th anniversary with sites in Alderley Edge and Bramhall. ILoveBramhall.com met with Lee Mason and his mum Jane to find out more about their continued success.
“We are a family business,  see our staff as part of our family and we want our customers to feel part of it too” Jane told us.
Lee added
“We wanted to create a place that felt like home from home; relaxed and casual, where you can take your time and enjoy yourself”
The Bubble Room

Certainly the Bubble Room feels like it has been designed to feel like an extension of your living room which may be the reason why so many people fail to get back home on time! …but of course that might just be us lushes at ILoveBramhall.com.

And the dining style is also famously relaxed, with the option to eat at the bar, in the front seating area or in the separate ‘Monkey House’ restaurant area at the rear.  The menu has plenty of choice and lots of options to suit your budget.

“We believe in fresh, good quality food that delivers value for money.  Our produce is locally sourced and we cook everything fresh on the premises” Lee said.
And we agree, having munched our way through pretty much all of the menu which can be a bit of a challenge as the menu changes with each season. Daily specials featuring meat and fish dishes plus desserts are updated on a weekly basis. The Sunday breakfasts and roast dinners are legendary; top quality produce cooked to perfection and accompanied by all the trimmings piled high on a plate to test even the hungriest of appetites. If you are counting the calories then there are plenty of lighter options such as smashed avocado and poached egg, and a fine choice of tasty salads.  And if you just fancy some picky bits with friends then the sharing platters and mezze boards are perfect.

However, the fresh, changing menu always retains the ‘bubble classics’ such as their home made burger and thai beef salad, otherwise their might just be a riot in the village. There are gluten and allergen free options too and to wash it all down the bar offers a choice of wine, champagne, premium spirits, lager ad bottled beer and cider, plus soft drinks of course…

We all love a good bargain and Bubble Room doesn’t disappoint. Throughout the week there are some deals that are simply too good to miss.  Monday’s Steak Night Special offers a starter and a choice of steaks, plus two drinks (wine or beer) for just £16.95.  Tapas Night on Wednesdays serves up a choice of three tapas dishes plus two drinks for the same price.  And to welcome the weekend in style, Champagne Friday is sure to pop your cork with a bottle of house Champagne (not cheap Prosecco darling …) for an amazing £20, between 4pm and 9pm.

These superb deals still don’t add up to us at ILoveBramhall.com but we will keep enjoying them…certainly until the Mason family get their calculator out and do the sums.  And finally a couple more things are worth mentioning because they provide the extra bit of fizz that makes Bubble Room special. Live music on a Sunday night brings in a fun crowd for a singalong send-off to the weekend.

The Monkey Room restaurant and sections of the bar area can be hired out for special events and the Mason family’s warm welcome also extends to our four legged friends in the bar area, and that’s ILoveBramhall’s very own Darcy and her canine chums consider Bubble Room to be their local too.
